At Home Preferred is a small, locally owned, home care company. Since 2011, we provide non-medical care to seniors in the Indianapolis area. AHP hires caring, compassionate, responsible individuals with a passion for serving seniors

We build a client-focused care team based on the needs of our clients and on the interests and availability of our caregivers. The first question we'll ask you is "When are you available to work?" We know it's important to be able to plan the other activities in your life, so we set schedules a month in advance. We will provide you with the training and information necessary for each of your shifts. Shifts start at $12.00 an hour and range from 3 to 12 hours--we will work around your schedule

Position Summary:

The personal care attendant fulfills a vital role in assisting our clients with day-to-day activities so that they can remain safely and comfortably within the familiar surroundings of their home. This position ensures the delivery of quality non-medical care which reflects AHP's mission to provide high quality compassionate care for our clients and their families so that they can safely remain in their homes with the dignity and respect they deserve.

* Toileting assistance
* Meal preparation
* Errands (grocery shopping, doctor's appointments)
* Light housekeeping and laundry
* Respite (relief) care for family members
* Overnight care

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

* High School diploma or equivalent GED
* Current, Valid Drivers Licence and Automobile Insurance REQUIRED


* Experience in home care or related field preferred
