We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. The ADON will collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing the nursing department, ensuring top-notch care for our residents, and adhering to all regulatory requirements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Work closely with the DON to manage and supervise nursing staff, ensuring optimal staffing levels and smooth operations.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing protocols, procedures, and standards to guarantee the delivery of safe and effective care.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as facility policies.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional growth.
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and ensure precise execution of resident care plans.
- Oversee medication administration and maintain accurate medical records.

**Qualifications:**
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active New York state license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Profound familiarity with long-term care regulations, policies, and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a proven track record in team management.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Competence in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
