Job Description: As a Chief of Staff at The Vantage, you will serve as a key advisor and right-hand person to our clients' executives, facilitating smooth operations and strategic decision-making. You will have the opportunity to work closely with leadership teams, offering valuable insights and support to drive organizational success. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing strategic counsel to the principal and senior management team, collaborating with senior executives to strategize and prioritize business initiatives.
  • Representing the principal in meetings, via email, and through phone communications with both internal and external stakeholders, acting as a representative for the principal to address inquiries and concerns.
  • Managing the principal's calendar, coordinating travel arrangements, and optimizing time management, ensuring seamless communication and timely decision-making.
  • Preparing correspondence, including letters, emails, reports, and other documents, on behalf of the principal, facilitating focused and efficient communication.
  • Assisting the principal during meetings by recording minutes, ensuring follow-up on action items, and providing hands-on assistance to implement and track progress of initiatives.
  • Facilitating focused and efficient meetings, including planning and coordination, and advising department heads to improve overall team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Overseeing the timely and efficient execution of projects and initiatives directed by the principal, directing strategic business initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Conducting market research and providing recommendations for new policies and strategies, identifying areas for organizational improvement and presenting actionable recommendations.
  • Designing and implementing systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency, establishing and monitoring key performance indicators to drive team performance improvements.
  • Establishing and maintaining standards and procedures for recruiting and managing office staff and personnel under the principal's purview, presenting detailed analyses of company operations to senior leadership.
  • Managing budgetary planning and forecasting, expense tracking, and financial reporting in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Acting as a key advisor during times of crisis or uncertainty, assisting the executive team in developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard the organization's reputation.

  • Proven experience as a Chief of Staff or in a similar strategic support role.
  • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
  • Consulting experience with a focus on operations management
  • Experience with budget management
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
