What You Will Do as a Patient Care Technician:

With HealthTronics, you'll enjoy the autonomy of managing medical equipment and supplies, while directly supporting patient treatments under the guidance of experienced Urologists. You will get to travel to different hospitals throughout the Louisville, KY area to offer your expertise in the operating room. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our surgical procedures, offering a fulfilling career path with a focus on patient safety and quality care. Ready to make a difference? Patient Care & Supply Technician Responsibilities:

* Assisting urologist during procedures by following sterile technique and processes while ensuring safe environment for the patient
* Preparing sterile surgical supplies for required cases
* Ensuring the equipment needed for the care of the patient is available for the patient procedure, for example, holmium laser, URS cart.
* Monitoring and restocking supplies for the scheduled procedures including all URS supplies.
* Ordering supplies, sterile and non-sterile for different facilities.
* Coordinates supply needs between the sites and shares inventory when necessary
* Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; tracks orders and investigates problems

Patient Care & Supply Technician Position Requirements:

* High School diploma or GED equivalent
* One to 3 years of experience in a customer service-oriented role
* One or more years of patient care or operating room experience is preferable
* Must satisfy credentialing requirements established by health care facilities including vaccine requirements
* Obtain and maintain laser certifications including appropriate state(s) licenses as required by law and operational needs as applicable.
* Maintain and provide evidence of current CPR certification
* Must have a valid driver's license
* Moderate computer skills
