Glenbrook South High School is seeking applicants to fill an Assistant Debate Coach position for the 2024-2025 school year. The debate team is a co-curricular organization with an effective start date of August 2024. Candidates are required to hold significant national circuit policy debate experience. Responsibilities will include research, judging practice debates, and giving feedback on speeches, and tournament attendance.

Ideal Candidates will possess a valid driver's license and demonstrate proficiency in meeting deadlines, effective communication, and receptiveness to constructive criticism.

It is preferred that candidates explore applying for various roles within the District, including certain Administrator, teaching, or support staff positions.

Glenbrook High School District 225, commonly referred to as the Glenbrooks has a student enrollment of approximately 5,000 students. Glenbrook North and Glenbrook South High Schools have a reputation for offering students an excellent, high-quality, well-rounded educational experience. In addition to our two high schools, The Glenbrooks also offer alternative learning at Glenbrook Off-Campus.

To create a comprehensive high school experience, the Glenbrooks focus on four distinct areas: Academics, Athletics, Activities, and the Arts. Academic success is a top priority for our students and with almost 300 diverse course offerings, there is plenty of opportunity for exploration. In addition to core academic courses in the areas of English, mathematics, science, social studies, and world language; students may pursue special interest classes such as architecture, automotive, debate, graphic design, and music.
