RN Quality Coordinator Regulatory

Job Description
RN Quality Coordinator - Regulatory shares responsibility for the coordination of the quality management computer system and other review and reporting activities within the Quality Management Department. Coordinates and collaborates with the Health System to integrate data-driven decisions for the improvement of hospital, staff, and patient outcome and process measures. Clinical data collection, entry, analysis, and reporting to regulatory agencies and hospital departments.

Department: Quality Management

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Requirement: Active RN in the State of IL

Pay based on applicable experience; starting at $57,574.40

Responsibilities
Assesses current chart review process and reports and identifies potential improvements. Creates new reports as indicated., Assists with preparation of Board Reports., Collaborates with other departments to serve as a resource and provides education to staff regarding Quality Measures updates., Collects data from patient care records, adhering to internal and external data collection guidelines and maintaining accuracy and productivity levels as per National guidelines and Quality Management Department standards, Compiles data and prepares reports for assigned quality measures as directed by QM director., Develops new reports from other resources to improve the quality of reports., Enters data into Quality Management computer system and external national data bases., Identifies potential quality of care concerns or unexpected occurrences for review by the Quality/Risk Manager., Leads discussion of QM work processes to maintain optimal accuracy and efficiency, while promoting an environment of collaboration, teamwork, and personal/professional development., Manages data bases to obtain reports for required Quality Management reviews., Obtain current information for data abstraction per national guidelines to remain knowledgeable of current health care trends., Participates on Root Cause Analysis teams, Performs Core Measure Quality Checks concurrently., Performs daily database/computer maintenance functions. Updates database functions per external guidelines., Serves as a resource and provides education to QM staff regarding Quality Measures updates., Supervises Core Measure collection and performs root cause analysis of deficiencies.
