**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**

The Department of Psychiatry is participating in an expansion of the services provided through the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC).

This Adult Psychiatrist position will provide consultation and training service to physicians involved in the medical care of perinatal and post-natal women in our assigned catchment area. Duties will also include providing psychiatry services to adult patients in the department's outpatient clinics, supervising residents, and providing education to medical students.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**

General Psychiatrist, licensed to practice in the state of Texas.

**SALARY:**

Commensurate with experience.

**PHYSICAL LOCATION OF POSITION:**

Galveston, Webster
