Corporate:

* Participate in the development of new policies and procedures for the Equipment Dept. as needed.
* Guide new and existing personnel thru the company procedures and company policies.
* Continuously follow up with company projects and provide technical support as needed.
* Maintain working knowledge of applicable codes and standards to the projects.
* Attend meetings, trade shows and conferences to network and gather information of new tools and industry standards that can help to develop and improve the Equipment Department and company procedures.
* Maintain communication with equipment dealers, vendors and manufacturers to ensure their support and that the repair decisions and warranty recovery meets company expectations.
* Assist and support the Equipment Director for the US, in all matters as required.
* Serve as a back-up in absence of any personnel in the Department, as needed.

Technical Support of Jobsites:

* Collaborate and lead the purchase of equipment for all underground projects, like tunnel boring machines.
* Serve as a liaison with manufactures, while comparing and advising about what the different technologies available on the market are, and which suit the company's best interest.
* Create and coordinate the legal contracts for the purchase of the equipment, in conjunction with our Legal Departments.
* Collaborate with the projects during the design phase, regarding equipment needs.
* Collaborate and assist the projects during the design and manufacturing/assembly of the equipment.
* Organize and collaborate with job sites in matters related to ongoing equipment needs.

Investment and Sales Proposals:

* Review all investment and sales proposals.

Corporate Managed Vehicle Fleet:

* Supervise all aspects related to the vehicle fleet
* Review and approve fuel cards monthly invoices
* Review and approve leased vehicles monthly invoices.
* Supervise Dragados USA vehicle fleet agreements, analyze and elaborate replacement strategies by reviewing historical data/costs, and evaluate new agreements.
* Coordinate, analyze, and prepare the annual vehicle budget.

National Agreements (rental/lease/purchase):

* Participate in the negotiations (on an annual basis) of all rental, lease, and purchase agreements for all Dragados USA Companies.
* Research and evaluate new agreements with equipment companies.

Affiliate Companies:

* Serve as corporate equipment liaison regarding equipment protocols and procedures.
* Request and collect information regarding equipment needed/no longer needed at the companies/projects and coordinate the transfer/relocation of that equipment if needed.

Project Bids:

* Analyze all the equipment requested by our bidding department in selecting better and more convenient equipment fits for each study.
* Update and assist the bidding department regarding equipment prices regarding rental, lease, and equipment purchases.
* Update all equipment hourly rates and provide the information to the bidding department.
* Serve as a primary contact and liaison for equipment suppliers regarding bidding inquiries.
