* The goal for the clinical psychologist-which will also serve the addiction and mental health programs-is to provide comprehensive trauma-informed mental health care that survivors of human trafficking require and to destigmatize this type of care.

* Employing a clinical psychologist, who is trained in trauma-informed and survivor-centered practices, directly and integrating him/her within the core THRIVE team signals to survivors and the community that this care is standard practice: the same way a patient navigator helps survivors manage the health care system, the clinical psychologist helps survivors manage their well-being now and for the future.

* The clinical psychologist will be available to support survivors and their families 3 times per week and help to connect them with others who may be interested in forming support groups.

* Together with the LCSW, THRIVE clients will receive daily behavioral therapy.
