Position Title: Membership Sales Director

Department: Club Sales

Reports to: Executive Director of Membership

Location: Port Saint Lucie, Florida

The Pickleball Club ("TPC"), headquartered in Sarasota, Florida is a developer and operator of premier membership-based one-of-a-kind indoor pickleball clubs in the state of Florida. The Company is well underway with its plans to develop 15 facilities across the state of Florida with its strategy to take advantage of the significant unmet demand for quality indoor sports facilities across Florida. Our first state-of-the-art facilities are now open and operating in Lakewood Ranch and Port St Lucie., TPC is a new exclusive private club experience for pickleball enthusiasts of all levels. TPC prides itself on providing world-class facilities and service to our members and their guests. Our clubs are full service with 12-16 indoor pickleball courts, 2 outdoor covered courts, and 2 bocce courts. We offer a suite of member benefits, including member concierge services, engaging member events, and in-house instructional professionals. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the United States and TPC is the leader in the market.

Overview:

The Membership Sales Director plays a pivotal role in driving membership growth and fostering community engagement within our private upscale pickleball club. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Membership, the incumbent will be responsible for executing effective sales strategies to attract new members. They will work with the Executive Director of Membership and the Membership Manager who is responsible for maintaining a high level of service and satisfaction for existing members.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospective Member Development
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential members through community networking, outreach events, and targeted sales calls.
  • Utilize a proactive approach to generate leads and convert prospects into club members.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to capitalize on opportunities and differentiate our offerings.

Sales Process Management
  • Implement a structured sales process to guide prospects through the membership acquisition journey.
  • Conduct initial consultations to understand the needs and preferences of potential members.
  • Present membership options, benefits, and amenities in a compelling manner tailored to individual interests.
  • Maximize conversion from prospect to member while adhering to club policies.

Club Tours and Presentations
  • Coordinate and conduct personalized tours of the club facilities for prospective members.
  • Showcase the various amenities, programs, and services available to enhance the membership experience.
  • Address inquiries and provide detailed information to alleviate any concerns or objections raised during the tour.

Lead Generation and Follow-up
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective members by continuously sourcing new leads and referrals.
  • Follow up with leads in a timely manner to nurture relationships and progress them through the sales funnel.
  • Utilize CRM software to track interactions, manage leads, and monitor conversion rates.

Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with the Director of Membership, the Club's Marketing Manager, and the Club's Marketing Specialist [the Marketing team"] to develop promotional materials and campaigns aimed at attracting new members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new members.
  • Provide regular updates to the Executive Director of Membership regarding sales performance, trends, and challenges.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the health & fitness, club or hospitality or leisure industry.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build rapport and establish connections within the community.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a persuasive demeanor.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools is advantageous.

Salary Description

$50,000 base salary + commission
