Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the licensed nurse, the BHT I is responsible to provide care to patients with psychiatric disorders. Responsible for observing and intervening to keep patients safe, respond to maladaptive behaviors, and for input into the formulation of a therapeutic milieu treatment plan.

What qualifications you will need:

* Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Preferred Education: Associate Degree or higher in a human services field, e.g. psychology
* Required License: BLS Preferred License
* Preferred Experience: One year clinical experience as a health care provider on a psychiatric unit.
