POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist the Compliance Manager in processing state surplus lines filings in accordance with established Brown & Riding values, goals, and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Meets quality standards in preparing and submitting surplus lines filings in a timely and accurate manner according individual state requirements. Prepares and submits filings using manual paperwork or filing websites. Uses periodic reports to ensure timely filing
* Reconciles amounts payable to the regulatory agencies
* Monitor and track tags received from the state SLA departments and provide reports to the Compliance Manager

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Exceptional attention to detail, organization, follow-up, oral and written communication skills
* Able to work and solve problems independently
* Exhibit good listening skills and a willingness to help and support others
* Intermediate skill level in PC software (Word, Excel and other software, as required)
* Utilizes reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
