Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an outstanding BC/BE pediatric hospitalist to join our new practice at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville, North Carolina.  Iredell Memorial is a 247-bed comprehensive healthcare facility with 600 to 800 annual births.

 

Physician Responsibilities:

  • Primary management of patients in the pediatric unit
  • Newborn Nursery coverage
  • Consultation with families and referring physicians
  • Call coverage
  • Provide consults as needed in the Emergency Department 
  • Attendance at high-risk deliveries

Statesville is a beautiful, picturesque town located in the heart of suburbia less than an hour away from North Carolina's largest city, Charlotte.  Statesville is a small town that has a community feel with highly rated public and private schools. Residents and visitors take full advantage of the hot summers indulging in boating, fishing and swimming at Lake Norman State Park just 22 minutes away in Mooresville. There are many amazing attractions such as: Iredell Museums, Zootastic Park and Fort Dobbs historical site.  The cost of living in Statesville is lower than the nation average which makes it a very affordable place to live.
