Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an outstanding BC/BE pediatric hospitalist to join our new practice at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville, North Carolina. Iredell Memorial is a 247-bed comprehensive healthcare facility with 600 to 800 annual births.
Physician Responsibilities:
Primary management of patients in the pediatric unitNewborn Nursery coverageConsultation with families and referring physiciansCall coverageProvide consults as needed in the Emergency DepartmentAttendance at high-risk deliveries Iredell Memorial Hospital voted as one of the Best Places to Work in the Charlotte region by the Charlotte Business Journal and one of the healthiest employers in 2021. Statesville is a beautiful, picturesque town located in the heart of suburbia less than an hour away from North Carolina's largest city, Charlotte. Statesville is a small town that has a community feel with highly rated public and private schools. Residents and visitors take full advantage of the hot summers indulging in boating, fishing and swimming at Lake Norman State Park just 22 minutes away in Mooresville. There are many amazing attractions such as: Iredell Museums, Zootastic Park and Fort Dobbs historical site.
