JOB SUMMARY:

The EHS&S Coordinator is responsible for supporting and assisting with the implementation of EHS&S systems, written programs, procedures, processes and reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, standards and industry best practices.

This position supports the attainment of company and operational excellence EHSS department goal and objectives including administration, reporting and tracking of key performance indicators, targets and metrics. This position assists programs and procedures to produce the desired results consistent with the needs of the organization and based on global strategy and planning.

This position has responsibility to support EHS&S projects through sell and execution ensuring customer and supplier requirements are met in a timely manner across CECO platforms and businesses by following the company policies and full use of tools, training, implementation, reporting and standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities:

* Provides EHS&S operational excellence support to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
* Supports written program development, management and processes and requirements per local, state and federal regulations.
* Assists with investigation action management tracking and recordkeeping requirements for incidents including lost time, recordable, near miss and first aid incidents.
* Administers documentation and compliance with safety training policies and requirements. Assists with program management and compliance tracking. Maintains records management, tool and SharePoint updates.
* Coordinates and schedules physical security repairs and maintenance, coordinating physical security and facilities requirements and with plant managers.
* Supports assurance activities such as monitoring and tracking EHS activities, reporting and scorecard data management and tracking.
* Assists with development and monitoring of monthly reports, performance metrics and progress.
* Maintains badging, access control and video monitoring systems across organization.
* Supports tracking and reporting of environmental data and management for financial and various global reporting initiatives and requirements.
* Supports management systems ISO14001, ISO45001 framework implementation and systems.
* Manages and assists with worker's compensation insurance claims.
* Supports and administers processes for facilities management, lease management, emergency response and business continuity. Maintain updates for critical dates, lease terms and inspections.
* Manages Certificates of Insurance renewal ensuring risk management and projects are delivered on time and meet customer expectations.
* Ensures customer and contractor portal EHS&S programs and training are up to date supporting project management ensuring requirements are met.
* Implements and maintains site EHS&S procedures, documentation and interfaces with supervisors and site leaders/plant managers regarding regulatory compliance as it relates to EHSS. Tracks to completion.
* Coordinates and maintains global incident and training matrix, supporting mandatory OSHA compliance, OSHA 300 Logs, injury/illness metrics across multiple locations, new hire safety orientation and other site-specific hazard awareness training.
* Reports to Global Director EHS&S, liaises with site management, project/field managers and employees in both union and non-union locations.
* Promotes culture of EHS&S operational excellence and accountability throughout organization. Assists in approval and execution of EHS&S to improve consistency and delivery across platforms.
* Supports leading indicator initiatives such as Near Miss reporting, behavior based safety and employee engagement activities.
* Tracks non-conformances and works directly with site personnel to provide visibility to data and performance.
* Supports project and supplier management. Maintains qualification in portals such as ISNetword ensuring field support and customer requirements are met and cascaded.
* Proactively engages to identify opportunities for improvement, hazard analysis and changes needed for continuous improvement.
* Manages KPI data and provides input to improve performance for continuous improvement.
* Works in matrix organization and partners with key functions such as human resources, supply chain management and business units to identify risk, ensure implementation and mitigate risk.
* Proactively identifies continuous improvement opportunities to advance the EHS&S program in areas of design, risk and preventive actions.
* Provides management with information and feedback from the market/suppliers, platforms to ensure continuous improvement.
* Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or Environmental Sciences or related field required.
* 5+ years experience implementing EHS&S experience.
* Broad knowledge of EHSS regulations, standards and best practices such as OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Standards, EPA, DOT, NFPA, ANSI and Environmental Reporting protocols.
* Experience with ISO managements system requirements and quality standards required.
* ISNetworld, Avetta and supplier portal proficiency.
* Experience or training in safety and security risk assessment and analysis.
* Analytical skills and ability to gather and interpret complex sets of data for tracking and reporting.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface effectively at all levels within the company.
* Basic project management experience.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as local, state and federal regulations, contracts, terms and conditions, work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
* Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams.
* Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch and use hand and lift and/pr move 10 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
* Travel up to 25% of the time.

LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:

* ASP, CSP, CIH a plus
* Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification a plus
