Baptist Medical Center is actively seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (CVT) to our esteemed Heart Center at Baptist Jacksonville.This Full-time position involves day shifts, spanning four days a week from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with on-call duties one night per week and every fourth weekend. Successful candidates are expected to obtain the RCIS certification within 12 months of hire.
As a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist you will be responsible for:
* Conducting diagnostic imaging and procedures related to the cardiovascular systems of patients.
* Preparing Cath Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients.
* Performs technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures (cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals, and structural heart.)
* Administering tests for diagnostic purposes
* Assisting in procedures such as electrocardiograms, catheterizations, and pulmonary functions.
