Accounting Intern

What You Will Be Doing:

* Monthly close process, account reconciliations, account analysis, and preparation of journal entries within functional areas:
* Cash - prepare bank reconciliations and associated journal entries
* Prepaid expenses - analyze prepaid additions and prepare associated journal entries
* Fixed assets - analyze fixed asset additions and prepare associated journal entries
* Payroll - record domestic and international journal entries
* Ensure documentation of and compliance with proper internal controls and SOX compliance
* Provide support for international statutory audits and VAT filings
* Preparation of ad-hoc reports
* Preparation and completion of other projects and tasks that may be required from time-to-time

Who We Are Looking For:

Your experience includes:

* Candidates should be currently seeking a bachelor degree in Accounting from an accredited university/college
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
* Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who works well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple and changing priorities
* Good analytical skills
* Deadline oriented and the ability to complete tasks independently
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees at all levels of the organization
