Lobby Attendant

Job Summary

The Lobby Attendant responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel. assisting room attendants with general cleaning of guest rooms.  This includes vacuuming, shampooing of carpets, cleaning/waxing of floors, trash removal, stocking and maintaining supply rooms and other cleaning duties. 

Job Duties & Functions
• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper
uniform and name tag when working.
• Clean Public restrooms and ensure maintenance on a regular basis/ as needed throughout the shift
• Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests, fellow associates and self.
• Complete daily assignment check list and submit to supervisor at the end of the day
• Complete special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Attend meetings as required by management.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.

Physical Requirements
•Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to rest on one or both knees. 

•Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

•Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.

•Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks all during shift.

•Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position
or moving objects horizontally from position to
positions.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including Holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
