Job Overview:

Assists in the daily operation of the Department by performing secretarial, receptionist, financial, ordering and general clerical duties.

Qualifications:

Required:

* High School Diploma
* Computer savvy

Preferred:

* At least 2-3 year s related experience

Scheduling Requirements:

* Monday Friday
* 8:00am 4:00pm
* Full Time

Essential Functions:

* Schedules patients for clinic office visits
* Maintains appropriate records and establishes departmental filing systems to ensure the expeditious retrieval of information so that department head and/or department staff can accomplish their responsibilities in time frames
* Answers telephone, divert calls, receives and relays messages accurately
* Ensures and maintains adequate levels of office supplies and equipment
* Participates in overall telephone coverage on behalf of the entire Department and maintains complete and accurate telephone/visitor messages for department personnel, assuring timely and accurate routing of messages in a professional and courteous manner at all times
* Performs other duties as assigned
