Collects, analyzes, and presents research data. Monitors and maintains relevant research databases to ensure accurate data entries. Understands and interprets research protocols and procedures. Participates in the publication of significant results to include authorship of scientific monographs. Advances expertise through continued education, training, and research. Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in the field. Ensures all research is undertaken according to good research practice. Warrants that department activities comply with applicable guidelines and regulations. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

  • Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.

Department Specific Functions

1. Incumbent will work closely with both the ECHO research associates and program director to fulfill day-to-day study activities including but not limited to recruitment, data collection, participant follow-up.
2. Incumbent will assist program director and regulatory specialist with maintaining compliance in accordance with UM IRB and external IRB regulations.
3. Incumbent will collaborate with program director on updating the study website, newsletters, participant communication templates, and other study materials.
4. Incumbent will attend regular ECHO staff weekly and monthly meetings and will assist in preparing presentations for meetings.
5. Incumbent will assist program director in study outreach activities.
