Location: Kirksville, MO

Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday
Job Overview:
The incumbent of this position is responsible for the delivery of evidence-based prevention programs, practices, and policies to individuals. This role involves organizing and implementing activities as indicated in approved work plans and assisting with tracking outcomes. The coordinator will submit timely reports and forms as specified for the Partnership for Success program, contributing to community-based prevention efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide virtual or in-person delivery of evidence-based prevention curriculum to juveniles in the service area.
* Ensure curriculum is delivered consistently with the fidelity of the program.
* Plan and prepare lessons, gathering necessary teaching tools to enhance the delivery of the curriculum.
* Document all services provided in accordance with the contract and submit monthly reports to the Partnership for Success Grant Manager.
* Provide training and technical assistance to stakeholders including administrators, educators, students, family members, and community members.
* Consult with educators and counselors on curriculum implementation.
* Attend all required training sessions by the System and funders.
* Assist with data collection and maintenance of records.
* Participate in the development of Quality Improvement Indicators and quarterly reports.
* Provide information to coalitions about substance use prevention programs and resources.
* Respond to requests for prevention services and information within the geographic area, making services available to all populations and community-based coalitions, organizations, and groups, as appropriate.
* Contribute to the development and updating of the draft and final Strategic Work Plan, assisting with planning, implementation, and evaluation.
* Participate in the Statewide Prevention Training and Resource Network.
* Prepare and submit monthly progress reports to the PFS Grant Manager for the assigned geographic area.
* Demonstrate interest in the long-term and short-term goals and objectives of the System.
* Other duties as assigned by Leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Knowledge of the policies, procedures, and regulations of the program to which the employee is assigned.
* Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within the assigned program.
* Capability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively and produce clear and concise reports.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
* Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in social work, counseling, public health, education, psychology, community development, public administration, or a closely related field; OR
* Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field who has at least one (1) year of professional experience in a social service agency; AND
* At least two (2) years of experience providing alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention programming for youth.
* At least one (1) year of experience, which may be included in the above two (2) years, in a site coordinator or similar role.

Employment Requirements:
* Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
* Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
* All training requirements, including Relias, at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
* Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
Physical Requirements:
* ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects, including the human body.
* Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods. Jobs are considered sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally.
