Job Summary:
As a Prevention Specialist at Brightli, you will play a vital role in promoting community wellness and preventing substance use. You will serve as the primary point of contact for community-based coalitions, fostering collaboration and partnerships to drive positive change. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing technical assistance, training, and resource support to empower community organizations to make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for community-based coalitions, fostering collaboration and partnerships.
• Provide information and technical assistance to coalitions regarding substance use prevention programs and resources.
• Offer training resources to enhance coalitions' ability to prevent substance use and promote community wellness.
• Respond to requests for prevention services and information throughout the assigned counties.
• Assist in creating yearly community and coalition needs assessments for the designated geographic area.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of Strategic Work Plan strategies.
• Participate in conferences, in-services, and other required events to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in a relevant field; OR
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with at least one year of professional experience in a social service agency; OR
• Associate's Degree in a relevant field with at least two years of professional experience in a social service agency.
Additional Qualifications:
• Knowledge of program policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within the assigned program.
• Strong communication skills to produce clear and concise reports.
