The Imaging Support Services Supervisor is responsible for multiple service functions that support Radiology clinical areas, patients, radiologists, and referring physicians. These functions support imaging services from receipt of a physician order through patient check-in, patient transport and the distribution of study images and reports. The Supervisor monitors the activity and performance of the personnel assigned to the area, ensuring the highest level of customer service and completion of all required tasks.
* Minimum two (2) years clerical experience, with some supervisory experience, or a bachelor's degree and 6 months clerical experience.
* Ability to organize and prioritize work.
* Excellent communication/ customer service skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Ability to type 30 words per minute.
* Demonstrated computer skills.
* Ability to function independently.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a logical manner.
* Demonstrated problem solving skills.
* Certificate of completion in a medical terminology course.
PREFERRED:
* Knowledge of Radiology Services.
