Client Contracts Specialist

Description:
The Client Contracts Specialist will support the Client Administrative Services Managers with Requests for Proposals, Nonstandard Client Engagement Terms, Outside Counsel Guidelines, and Client Contracts.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Terms Database
* Maintain a database of Nonstandard Engagement Terms and Outside Counsel Guidelines.
* Review, identify, and track provisions of concern to the Legal Department.
* Handle requests related to the Terms database.
* Track and follow up with outstanding Outside Counsel Guidelines.
* Assist with training and mentoring of Client Administrative Services Clerks as required.
* Special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* A total of 0-3 years legal experience, preferably with familiarity of document review.
* Ability to work independently and effectively, under pressure, with minimal direct supervision.
* Ability to exercise the appropriate amount of discretion in escalating and communicating issues.
* Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
* Strong research, computer, and database skills.
* Ability to write clearly and concisely.
* Ability to effectively train and mentor new Client Administrative Services Clerks.
Minimum Education:
* Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certification. Juris Doctor preferred.
This position may be filled in New York. In accordance with the New York State Pay Transparency Law and New York City Human Rights Law, the pay range for this position in New York State is $24.00 - $43.20/hr and in New York City is $28.80 - $43.20/hr. These ranges are specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
