Overview

We seek the "best of the best" restaurant professionals passionate about food, elevated service, and beverage experiences. Our Food & Beverage team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is currently looking for a motivated, hard-working, and attentive Barista. In this role, you will be an "impression maker" who embodies the Bardo brand and sets the standard for impeccable anticipatory service.

Responsibilities

* Working as part of a fun, high-energy team
* Provide personalized, warm and anticipatory service to guests
* Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls
* Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality
* Serve beverages such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages
* Receive and process payments
* Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils

Qualifications

* Hard-working team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
* Passionate about hospitality, food, and beverage and possess a desire to learn
* The ability multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Effective communication skills
* Able to maintain a delightful and refreshing demeanor when addressing guests and team members
* Ability to endure abundant physical movements in various work areas
