THIS IS A POSITION THAT PROVIDES FIELD SUPPORT ON WINDOWS AND DOORS PRODUCTS BY PERFORMING SERVICES IN CUSTOMER'S HOUSE.

We are looking for a professional who is experienced in installing and servicing windows and doors. This Door/Window Service Technician position will provide superior field support on window and door products by performing service in the customer's home. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, be self-motivated, driven, efficient, and detail oriented.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Trouble shoot problems.
* Visit job sites.
* Re-glaze windows.
* Service Sliding Glass Doors.
* Inspect the project with customers for final product acceptance.
* Repair issues on jobs.
* Communicate with service manager, production manager on issues as they arise.
* Ensure you have materials for projects prior to job.
* Communicate effectively with customers before during and possibly after service.

Requirements:

* Candidate must have experience with window and door service.
* Must have good customer service skills and can communicate well verbally and in writing.
* Must be organized and have good follow up skills and be computer literate.
* Experienced with framing and window trim out preferred.
* Must have a clean valid driving license.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

* Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery.
* Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
* Must be able to lift 50+lbs with assistance.
* Use of hand tools

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

* Required to travel to service sites daily.
