Summary:
This position is responsible for administering and managing all leaves of absence programs and processes at CCHCS (STD, LTD and Medical, Personal and Educational LOA, and FMLA). This position must interface directly with other team members in the benefits and HR department, external leave vendors, Payroll and all employees at Cook Childrens Health Care System.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree required.
* Requires 3 years of progressively responsible experience in HR leave administration.
* Knowledge of federal and state leave laws, disability programs, and FMLA.
* Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS and Lawson highly preferred.
* Ability to demonstrate attention to details and thorough documentation through online management system.
* Ability to perform job responsibilities with a minimum of supervision.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain comprehensive records.
* Ability to identify issues and concerns as they arise and bring forward to develop a plan for resolution.
* Proven ability to build positive internal and external relationships, partnering with appropriate resources.
