Join Our Mission

As a PD Group Home Worker, you will be responsible for creating a therapeutic and nurturing home environment for youth in a group home setting. The goal of the position is to maintain a safe, secure atmosphere conducive to the youth's positive growth and change. This includes teaching daily and independent living skills, mentoring and promoting community integration.

Job Responsibilities

+ Maintain a safe, secure atmosphere conducive to the youth's positive growth and change.

+ Teach youth daily and independent living skills, mentoring and promoting community integration.

+ Responsible for monitoring the behavior of the youth living in the home, which includes mediating disputes, taking dangerous items out of a client's possession or coaching.

+ Assist Group Home leadership with the admission of new youth and discharge.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

+ High School Diploma or GED, required; Associates Degree in Human Services, preferred

+ Minimum 1 year of experience working with at risk youth preferred

+ TCI, First Aid/CPR certification required or ability to obtain and maintain certification

+ Must have a current, valid driver's license per Agency guidelines. Travel required.

+ Ability to work a flexible schedule, outside of normal business hours including nights and weekends.

+ Pay starts $20 hourly and is based on experience/education

Schedule

+ School Days: Monday - Friday 6am-9am + weekend availability preferred
