JCamps is looking for responsible, enthusiastic, and spirited individuals who can serve as role models and mentors at camp this upcoming summer: June 7-August 5, 2022.
Camp Hoover is for children entering 4th-8th grade and is located on the beautiful Hoover Reservoir. Our 80-acre campgrounds include a high ropes course, zipline, climbing wall, pool, archery range, and waterfront for canoeing and kayaking.
All counselors work in a collaborative environment as a team to create impactful programming for our campers, ensure the safety and welfare of our campers, and encourage campers to engage in daily activities including swimming, art, music, and sports. JCamps is built on a foundation of Jewish values, and welcomes campers and counselors of all backgrounds.
Minimum Qualifications:
High Ropes Course Specialists will go through additional training from May 31-June 3, 2022. They are responsible for the safety of campers while on the high ropes course, zipline, and climbing wall and create an engaging and encouraging environment as campers learn "the ropes."
Competitive pay. Position allows for evenings and weekends free. JCC Membership included. Prior experience in this area and working with children is a plus.
