Assistant Coach

Overview
The Assistant Coach will work with current yard coaches to meet yard and company goals by running a safe and profitable yard.

Accountabilities

Assist with non-ferrous scale, heavy equipment, industrial scale as well as the ASR desk.
Ensure shipments are correct to post with matching receiving weights.
Assist with upgrading material and increase knowledge of scrap industry.
Ensure daily inventory numbers are accurate.
Assist Coach with daily paperwork
Conduct daily safety meetings
Assist with training new Team Members.

Qualifications

Previous leadership role with ability to network and negotiate in a sales setting
Strong conflict resolution experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to inspire trust from team members and customers
Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
Ability to multi-task
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong problem solving skills
