Class A CDL Driver

Amarr is hiring an experienced, motivated CDL driver to join our distribution center in New Jersey Hub as a full time team member. This is the ideal position for the person who loves to contribute to the success of a team as well as provide safe, expedient deliveries to our distribution network and customers.

In this position you will:

* Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle three to five days a week within the Southeast Region.
* Provide deliveries to customers and other Amarr Door Centers in a safe and timely manner.
* Provide personal attention to customer requests or product needs.
* 1 week 2 days over the road, alternative week 1 day over the road
* Perform warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all phases of operations.
* Perform customer assistance by completion of required staging and assembly tasks.
* Assist with distribution center warehousing tasks such as unloading factory deliveries and other inbound freight, as well as loading dock customers.
* Assist in the completion of production orders if not on the road.

Requirements and Qualifications:

* Must have a valid CDL license, be at least 21 years old, and possess a clean driving record.
* 3-5 years + experience driving a commercial vehicle.
* Must be able to consistently lift 50-75 lb.
* Ability to learn product and work under pressure.
* Mechanically inclined with the ability to operate power tools.
* Good customer service skills.

The Details:

This position is Monday - Friday, current routes home nightly. No weekends The pay rate starts at $35 based on experience.
