Responsibilities
A Post-doctoral Research Fellow position is available in Dr. Gianluca Cipriani's lab at Mayo Clinic.
This position will focus on investigating neuro-immune communication in the gut. Our research includes projects on understanding the role of muscularis macrophages in synapse pruning and their impact on GI motility. The position will also study changes to muscularis macrophage phenotypes in aging and digestive motility diseases through mechanoregulation. The Cipriani Lab, within the Enteric Neuroscience Program, operates within a collaborative environment featuring several NIH-funded investigators exploring various aspects of GI motility. Qualifications
Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
