What you'll do

Learn all aspects of the manufacturing process

* Perform troubleshooting, breakdown repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance, including work orders, accurate time tracking and parts consumption
* Inspect production equipment and plant facilities to ensure a safe working environment
* Work both independently and with teams demonstrating safe work practices
* Accurate reporting of maintenance work performed and material and parts used on a daily basis and any associated JSA and/or SOP
* Participate in all housekeeping activities
* Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements

* Working knowledge of machine operations in a manufacturing environment
* Fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs [CMMS]
* Basic knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot the following:
* 24 VDC, 110 and 480 3 Phase VAC electrical systems
* Hydraulic Systems
* Pneumatic Systems


* Ability to fabricate steel using a torch, welder and associated tooling
* Basic ability to read prints/schematics of the following types
* Electrical
* Hydraulic
* Pneumatic
* Structural


* Ability to safely operate power tools
* Possess own set of hand tools
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

Experience

* 3 years: Industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment - Preferred

Education

* High School Equivalent or higher - Required
* Technical/other training or higher - Required
