Polysomnographic Technician

The Polysomnographic Technician is responsible for performing comprehensive sleep testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of a licensed Physician. The Polysomnographic Technician supports the clinical care of patients, and continually seeks opportunities to improve core processes with a patient centered focus.

Fauquier Health is a 97-bed acute care hospital offering surgical services (including robotics), a 24-hour Emergency Department, extensive medical imaging capabilities, an Intensive Care Unit and much, much more. □ High school diploma or equivalent □ Preferred X Required

*Minimum Work Experience*
Preferred one year experience working with overnight sleep studies.

*Required Skills*
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
