Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist (~20 Hours/Week)

Location: Canton, MA

HireMinds is seeking your expertise in accounts payable administrative services in this part-time hiring role. Our client is a global services organization committed to maintaining the highest standards and quality execution within their financial systems to drive their contract business forward. As a Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist, your role is crucial in processing, tracking, and recording payments accurately, efficiently, and on time. Your contributions will directly impact financial transactions, ensuring we remain on track and maintain good relationships with our valued vendors and Biopharma partners. This is an ideal role for someone seeking a great team to help and take on part-time accounts payable responsibilities with a growing organization in the biopharma space.

You'll Be Responsible For:

* Strengthening relationships with vendors through timely processing and payments.
* Demonstrate integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
* Comply with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
* Review and process invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
* Execute account reconciliation for invoices, including general journal entries and other General Ledger activities as needed.
* Utilize approved vendor websites to order and track necessary lab supplies.
* Assist the immediate Supervisor with special assignments and projects.
* Perform additional administrative office duties, including sorting mail, greeting and signing in guests and vendors, filing, and other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

You'll Bring With You:

* Relevant degree and working history in Financial services.
* Strong understanding and knowledge of finance, bookkeeping, and accounting.
* Superb time management and communication skills, with excellent follow-through.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and Accounting Programs (e.g., PeachTree).
* 3-6 years of experience in a previous accounting role, preferably in the CDMO/CRO space.
* Ability to work in a team environment where timely delivery is essential.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work 20 hours/week in Canton, MA
