Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets has an opportunity for a CDL Driver at our manufacturing facility located in Caldwell, ID.

JOB DETAILS:

* Flatbed experience preferred.
* Deliver trailer and trailer products while operating a tractor-trailer truck, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning several states to customers timely.
* Must be willing and able to tarp loads as needed.
* Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
* Drive flatbed truck long distances.
* Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
* Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
* Follow all applicable traffic laws.
* Inspect their trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find.
* Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
* Keep a log of activities.
* Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
* Take rest periods during trip, take special precautions while driving.

Minimum Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

* Must be 21+ years of age.
* Valid Class A CDL Required.
* 1 year experience, including manual.
* Proven working experience as a commercial truck driver.
* Clean driving record - No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.
* Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
* Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
