Overview
Position Summary: The Neurophysiologist Technician is under minimal supervision of the Ambulatory PCS manager, performs a wide variety of Neurodiagnostic studies to include both in- patient and out- patient EEG testing. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist 1 is an entry to mid-level position in the Neurodiagnostic unit / Neurophysiology lab and department. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist 1 performs procedures according to standards set up by the department. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist 1 can perform test set up, electrode application and maintain patient safety during clinical significant events and other related duties. Communication skills are essential for this position. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist consistently demonstrates commitment to a patient and family focused model of care in the ambulatory and in- patient settings.
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of two (2) year experience in EEG or graduate from accredited Neurodiagnostic program with required 1200 hour practical experience completed. Pediatric Experience preferred. Documented Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Demonstrated organizational skills. Demonstrated minimumof two (2) years having worked in EEG with pediatric experience preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certifications:
HS graduate. Graduate of a Neurodiagnostic program accredited by the committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation/ and or equivalent experience preferred.

* ABRET Certification in EEG/LTM required within the first year of hire, if not previously obtained. Current
* BLS
* Minimum of 2 years college preferred.
Pay Scale Information
USD $49,504.00 - USD $85,394.40

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
