Minimum Qualifications Summary

Certification & Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience Required
  • 6 years' experience in SOF and/or Joint Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) / Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Defense operations, policy, doctrine, and TTPs.
  • 3 years' experience at the SOF Component, Combatant Command or Joint staff levels supporting CWMD/CBRN mission areas.
  • 2 years' experience in developing CWMD/CBRN Defense projects and/or program action plans.
  • 1 year experience using web-based programs such as, social media platforms, and ALL Microsoft Office products (i.e., SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel)
  • TS/SCI clearance

Job Objective

The purpose of the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Support Task Order is to provide subject matter expertise to conduct strategic studies and assessments for the analysis, assessment, and synchronization of the Unified Command Plan CWMD mission for USSOCOM to synchronize the global DoD CWMD mission more effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Shall provide support in developing CWMD/CBRN projects or program action plans
  • Supports program and project management, operational planning, and coordination processes
  • Reviews and analyzes USSOCOM CWMD doctrine, policy, and plans; recommends material and non-material gap mitigation solutions related to SOF CBRN operations and programs of record
  • Coordinates with DoD, Joint Staff, Services, Combat Support Agencies and Other Government Agencies on CWMD/CBRN policies/issues.
  • Supports the development of CWMD/CBRN projects or program action plans.
  • Recommends process methodologies to develop USSOCOM CBRN Defense capabilities; recommends courses of action to solve USSOCOM CBRN Defense and CWMD problems.
  • Supports program administration and operation analysis and recommends changes to effect desirable changes in CWMD/CBRN.
  • Perform escort duty for cleaning crew and construction crew in support of SOCOM J10 when required
