Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our legal team as a Legal Intern. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of legal areas. The ideal candidate will be a current law student or recent graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for the law.

The internship is a 12-week commitment running from either June 3rd - August 23rd, or June 17th to September 6th. This is a hybrid role with expectations of coming into the office about 2 - 3 times a week.

What You'll Do

* Assist with contract management, including drafting and reviewing contracts with vendors, customers, and carriers.
* Provide support with administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, and managing documents.
* Assist with corporate governance matters, such as maintaining corporate records and ensuring compliance with corporate formalities.
* Review, summarize and analyze legal documents, including agreements, policies, and correspondence.
* Assist with intellectual property matters, such as trademark searches, maintaining and updating patent portfolio.
* Collaborate with attorneys and other team members on legal projects and initiatives.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Forms, Smartsheet, Teams.
* Thrive in fast-paced environment and excel under pressure.
* Enjoy sharing a good laugh with teammates.

Education and Experience

* Currently enrolled in an accredited law school or recent law school graduate.
* Strong academic record with coursework in relevant legal areas.
* Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
* Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is preferred but not required.

Salary

$25 hourly

The base pay for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. Stanley is a total rewards company, which includes rewards beyond base salary. At Stanley, full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual results.
