Responsibilities

Manage operations for Respiratory, Sleep Disorders and/or other services.

* Implement departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
* Assess quality of patient care and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
* Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, conflict management and other job related issues. Oversee scheduling, recruitment and payroll.
* Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

* BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
* Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
* Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.

Education:

* High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
* 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
