Job Title: Mortgage Customer Service Representative
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage Customer Service Representative to join our team. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $17 per hour for English speakers and $18.50 per hour for bilingual Spanish speakers. The first 30 days will be fully on-site for training, with a schedule of 9:30am to 6pm. After training, the role will transition to a hybrid schedule from 10:30am to 7pm, based on meeting adherence, quality, and attendance expectations. Please note, no time off is allowed in the first 4 weeks.
Responsibilities
+ Handle approximately 35-45 inbound calls per day, with an average call duration of 11-14 minutes.
+ Address insurance servicing questions from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions.
+ Resolve inquiries related to homeowners insurance, including payment and coverage questions.
+ Multi-task between various systems to research and document phone calls.
+ Respond quickly and accurately to ensure internal and external standards are met consistently.
+ Utilize problem-solving skills to handle all calls in a professional manner.
Essential Skills
+ At least 1 year of recent customer service experience (call center experience preferred).
+ Proficiency in using a Windows PC and navigating software systems.
+ Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Reliable internet connection for remote training and work.
+ Reliable transportation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of call center experience.
+ Background in insurance or mortgage industries.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50
