Your day would consist of driving a &fac34; ton truck or a rollback truck to pick up powersport items such as boats, ATV's/UTV's, motorcycles, cars, trailers, campers, RV's and more and bring them back to our warehouse
Essential Functions:
• Driving and picking up powersport items such as boats, ATV's/UTV's, motorcycles, cars, trailers, campers, RV's and more and bring back to the Hastings, MN warehouse
• Loading, securing/strapping and then transporting units on a 26 - 28' car hauler trailer in a safe and timely manner (e.g. ATV/UTV, motorcycles, mowers, and vehicles with and without keys).
• Towing pull behind units (e.g. bumper pull, gooseneck, fifth wheel, pintle hitches).
• Hauling watercrafts (e.g. getting motors up, water loads, pontoons off/on trailers, strapping, etc.).
• Trouble shooting jacks, hitches, and light issues prior to transporting.
• Trouble shooting bearing failures and tire issues during transport.
• Maintaining appropriate records and logs.
• Move merchandise/units around warehouse yard, as directed.
• Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License with no accidents, offenses, or speeding tickets within the last 5 years)
• Current Federal DOT Medical Card
• Ability to tow/pull/move vehicles around
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs regularly
Required Skills:
• Ability to communicate effectively via oral or written means
• Effective time management skills required.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in a warehouse or garage environment
• Class A CDL
• Experience complying with DOT regulations
• Customer service experience
• Knowledge of engine repair
• Knowledge of recreational equipment and a mechanical aptitude
Hours of Operation
• Full-time
• Monday through Friday; hours vary depending on the unit pickup location; no later than an 8:30 AM start time
• Rotating Saturdays from 9AM to 12:00PM
• Overtime as needed
• Occasional overnight travel
