Medical Billing Specialist
Evenflow Solutions has a client that is looking for a few Medical Billing Specialists in Lewisville, Texas to add to their team.
  • Full time Contract to hire position with the chance to go perm for the right person
  • This will be a W-2 position working with Evenflow Solutions. Benefits are available to you through our company while you are working the contract position.
  • This is a Hybrid position that will be oniste at our Lewisville Location on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Remote the remaining 3 days per week.


JOB SUMMARY
The Medical Billing Specialist position will consist of working closely with the clinics to ensure that all claims are being processed in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for both billing and collections based on an assigned region.
  • Responsible for resolving invalids, rejections, and denials as well as billing.
  • Medical AR follow-up procedures to include reviewing and working aging reports, denials and insurance correspondence from various insurance carriers
  • Payment posting and account reconciliation.
  • Review and process adjustments and refunds on patient accounts

Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of experience in Medical Billing, coding and all claims related services
  • Must have strong working knowledge in Texas Medicaid, Medi-Cal and managed care plans
  • Previous physician office and or hospital billing and follow up experience required (3 years)
  • Must have strong working knowledge in Medicaid, Medi-Cal and managed care plans
  • Candidates must have experience in medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, CPT codes, UB04 and 1500 claim forms
  • Experience with all Microsoft Office products
  • Typing 45 WPM minimum accurately
  • Clear understanding of confidentiality
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
