Job Title: Long-term Substitute Preschool Educational Assistant

FLSA Classification: Non-exempt, hourly employee

Standard Hours Per Day: 7 hours per day (not including a 30-minute unpaid duty-free meal break)

Salary/Compensation: $15.45/hour - $20.55/hour

Location: Tarhe Preschool

Qualifications for above position:

* A high school diploma
* A valid license to practice as an educational aide.
* Passage of the Paraprofessional Test, Two year degree or CDA Certification (as applicable)
* Child Abuse certification
* Child First Aid and CPR Certification
* Communicable Disease Certification
* Clear BCI/FBI report
* Classroom experience with handicapped students
* Must be able to deal appropriately with students who exhibit emotional or behavioral problems, aggressive behavior, or physical problems
* Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate.
