Summary

Position Highlights:

* Security and Safety Coordinator monitors department activities to connect and streamline administrative operations that integrate security, safety, emergency preparedness and response activities within the Center.
* Works with the Security Manager and Safety &Emergency Preparedness Manager, the Security and Safety Coordinator strives to enhance department teamwork by implementing goals and strategies to support Center expansion.
* At the department level, the Security and Safety Coordinator acts as system administrator for multi-faceted Report Executive security management software.

Responsibilities:

* Works with the Security Manager and Safety & Emergency Preparedness Manager, the Security and Safety Coordinator strives to enhance department teamwork by implementing goals and strategies to support Center expansion.
* At the department level, the Security and Safety Coordinator acts as system administrator for multi-faceted Report Executive security management software.
* Maintain officer training records.
* Tracks and trends security incident reports, shift activity logs, visitor tracking and lost and found data.
* prepares weekly security incident reports for executive leadership. Prepares monthly and quarterly security management plan performance statistics, crime survey and industry benchmarks.
* Assists with Environment of Care meetings by compiling reports, designs and maintains Environmental of Care Committee webpage.

Credentials and Qualifications:

* Associate's Degree required. In lieu of an Associate's Degree, a HS Diploma/GED with 2 additional years of relevant experience can be considered.
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Minimum of seven (7) years' experience directly involving business administration experience coordinating facilities support related functions within a healthcare facility or healthcare provider facility.
* Minimum of Three (3) years of relevant administrative experience involving the interaction with Senior Level Management, preferably in a healthcare related environment required.
* Demonstrated proficiency with office organization, procedures, and protocols.
* Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint software, personnel, purchasing and institutional policies and procedures.
* Knowledge of safety, security and emergency management concepts and regulatory requirements.
