This position is for a 1st Shift Quality Supervisor at our facility in Charlotte, NC.

Your Role

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the quality manager, plant management, and shift supervisors to address quality issues.
  • Coach, development, and guide quality employees.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the quality lab.
  • Responsible for training all employees in cGMP processes.
  • Review quality data to ensure its accuracy.
  • Responsible for generating KPI reports (i.e., Quarantine, Nonconformance, Segregation).
  • Assist with quality investigations and correcting action implementation.
  • Assist in the oversight of and implementation of new quality launches.
  • Perform quality testing and visual inspections of folding cartons to ensure that they meet customer specifications.
  • Use automated inspection devices to perform quality testing when needed.
  • Use inspection devices such as calipers, height gauges, etc. to perform quality testing.
  • Responsible for complying with all cGMPs, SOPs, Safety, and Company policies
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Your Profile

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of Quality experience in manufacturing environment required.
  • Previous experience in Packaging Manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 procedures preferred.

Key Skills and Attributes:
  • Solid understanding of safety awareness, ISO-9001 Quality System, and the processing of high security products.
  • Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
