This position is for a 1st Shift Quality Supervisor at our facility in Charlotte, NC.
Your Role
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the quality manager, plant management, and shift supervisors to address quality issues.
- Coach, development, and guide quality employees.
- Oversee the daily operations of the quality lab.
- Responsible for training all employees in cGMP processes.
- Review quality data to ensure its accuracy.
- Responsible for generating KPI reports (i.e., Quarantine, Nonconformance, Segregation).
- Assist with quality investigations and correcting action implementation.
- Assist in the oversight of and implementation of new quality launches.
- Perform quality testing and visual inspections of folding cartons to ensure that they meet customer specifications.
- Use automated inspection devices to perform quality testing when needed.
- Use inspection devices such as calipers, height gauges, etc. to perform quality testing.
- Responsible for complying with all cGMPs, SOPs, Safety, and Company policies
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Your Profile
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required.
- Minimum 3 years of Quality experience in manufacturing environment required.
- Previous experience in Packaging Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 procedures preferred.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Solid understanding of safety awareness, ISO-9001 Quality System, and the processing of high security products.
- Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
