Who We Need

We are urgently hiring Behavioral Health Technicians to provide essential support to individuals with sub-acute complex care needs. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a critical role in helping individuals maintain psychiatric stability in various settings, including Community Living Services and Residential Services. Your responsibilities will include facilitating psychoeducational groups, assisting with medication observation, and managing crisis situations with care and professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify for this exciting role, you'll need:
  • Education & Experience:
    • High School diploma/GED with 2-3 years of relevant experience, OR
    • An associate degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience, OR
    • A Bachelor's degree in any field plus 1 year of relevant experience.
  • A valid Arizona Driver's License and ability to pass a motor vehicle screen for insurance purposes.
  • Experience working with multi-cultural and low socio-economic individuals.
  • A Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or eligibility to obtain one within 8 weeks of hire.

Job Summary:

Your role as a Behavioral Health Technician includes, but is not limited to:
  • Ensuring the well-being of individuals served and providing a positive, supportive, and structured environment.
  • Assisting with daily living skills such as housekeeping, personal hygiene, budgeting, shopping, and community activities.
  • Engaging individuals in activities that encourage the achievement of treatment goals.
  • Completing daily goals as outlined in individual Treatment Plans, Behavior Plans, or Vision Recovery.
  • Planning and coordinating health promotion strategies, including health and wellness activities.
  • Documenting clinical information accurately and promptly.
  • Meeting billable hourly requirements as assigned.
