JOB TITLE: Behavioral Health Clinician

SUPERVISOR: Director of Behavioral Health

HOURS PER WEEK: 32-36hrs(M-F)/Exempt

DEPARTMENT: Behavioral Health

SALARY RANGE:
• Candidates with a Ph.D/Psy.D License will have a pay range of $92,851.20/yr - $139,276.80/yr
• Candidates with an LCSW will have a pay range of $83,595.20/yr - $121,201.60/yr

The following information is designed to outline the essential functions and position requirements of this job. It does not identify all tasks that may be expected, nor address the performance standards that must be maintained.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: To ensure that high quality behavioral health practice, clinical judgement, and medical integrity are upheld and implemented amongst the profession staff of the Clinic.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
1. Responsible for a range of psychological therapeutic interventions for individuals with behavioral health and medical disorders, utilizing empirically supported modalities when indicated.*
2. Ability to see 8 patients per day for psychotherapy.*
3. Acts as a behavioral health consultant to all primary care and specialty providers within The Portland Clinic when requested.*
4. May provide classes and/or groups in format appropriate for primary care (e.g. drop-in stress management class, group for a chronic condition).*
5. Delivers brief presentations/trainings to primary care team members regarding behavioral health issues when requested.*
6. Participates in team efforts to develop, implement, evaluate and revise clinical pathway programs in the clinic.*
7. Follow an efficient model for scheduling patient time*
8. Maintain up-to-date medical records and patient/physician correspondence/reports.*
9. Refer patients as indicated to appropriate level of treatment.*
10. Collaborate with providers and other health professionals in the delivery of care.*
11. Submit appropriate billings and diagnosis coding for all services provided to patients.*
12. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with patients and staff.*
13. Cooperate with staff and supports management, providing positive environment for staff and co-workers.*
14. Attend required meetings of the Clinic and affiliated organizations.*
15. Maintain licenses, privileges and skills. Participate in CME.*
16. Manage and/or monitors all outpatient care including referred patients.*
17. Comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.*
18. Follow OSHA and Clinic guidelines and policies for the prevention of the spread of bloodborne pathogens, including; maintaining a clean work environment, use of safety and personal protective equipment and engineering controls.*
19. Participate as an active member in a patient-centered medical home.
20. Attend work punctually as scheduled.*
21. Work in a cooperative manner with management/supervision, coworkers, customers and vendors.*
22. Abide by company policies.*

REQUIREMENTS:
• Licensed in Oregon in their respective boards.
• Ph.D., Psy.D. or LCSW degree.
• Valid Driver's License
• Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 6 months of hire)

• Ability to function independently and with minimal supervision
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), brief treatment models, Motivational Interviewing, and/or Evidence-based therapies
