Job Summary

Performs work associated with the installation and calibration of various machines.

Job Duties

* Perform moderately complex troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments
* Test and inspect machines to determine safe and efficient operation, perform routine maintenance and fix standard malfunctions
* Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operation
* Operate powered industrial equipment if needed
* Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
* Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
* Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
* Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

* Perform work under general supervision
* Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff
* Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter
* 2 to 4 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment

Competencies/ Skills

* Ability to interpret work instructions
* Ability to follow written and verbal directions
* Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to lift/move heavy objects
* Manual dexterity
* Physical stamina
