Project Administrator/Accountant

Position Objective

The Project Administrator provides the critical administrative and accounting support necessary to execute a successful project.

Essential Job Functions

* Set up initial budget entry and project maintenance in ComputerEase and Procore
* Issue, track, and collect subcontractor contracts and purchase agreements
* Request proper subcontractor insurance certificates
* Assist project team with creating and submitting owner billings
* Invoice entry, routing, and review of approved/rejected accounts payable invoices
* Issue payments to subcontractors; track and collect required payment documents
* Collect and track subcontractor change orders
* Create and maintain new vendor profiles in the accounting system, including W9 certificates
* Research and assist subcontractor and vendor issues
* Reconcile vendor statements
* Collect and compile project closeout documents
* Follow up with clients on past-due monthly draws
* Performs other miscellaneous tasks or assignments as necessary for project success

Basic Qualifications

* Minimum one year of accounting experience
* Ability to work in an open office environment
* Proficient in navigating Gmail, Word, and Excel
* Experience with ComputerEase and Procore software preferred
* General knowledge and understanding of construction documents is a plus

* Demonstrates strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks on multiple projects simultaneously
* Demonstrates strong initiative and is able to accomplish tasks with minimal manager supervision
* Utilizes a professional and engaging demeanor with coworkers, external partners, and clients
* Shows excellent communication skills, both in writing and face-to-face
* Maintains composure and professionalism in difficult situations and effectively resolves conflicts without escalating tension
* Embraces technology and is able to use it in ways that improve the experience of Centric associates and clients
